TAMIU Graduate School Hosts Info Sessions, Open House Thursday

Are you ready to take the next step and pursue a graduate degree at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU)?

Prospective students are invited to take part in several graduate studies sessions, March 9 – 11,  culminating in the Spring 2020 Graduate School Open House, Thursday, March 12 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center (ZSC).

All sessions, including the Open House, are free and open to the public. Various topics pertaining to graduate studies are scheduled, including information sessions held by the Office of Career Services and the Office of International Engagement.

Current graduate students can also attend to learn more about the existing resources offered through the University’s Graduate School.

The week’s schedule includes:

  • Monday, March 9 - Services for Graduate Students
  • Tuesday, March 10 – Study Abroad Opportunities for Graduate Students
  • Wednesday, March 11 – Everything About Your Graduate School Forms

Two sessions will be held per day at 3 and 6 p.m. at the ZSC, room 101.

Capping off the week’s activities is the annual Graduate School Open House. Prospective students will have an opportunity to meet with program advisors and learn more about the 25 graduate degree programs currently offered.

Those in attendance can also enter their names to win a $2,000 scholarship, as well as door prizes.

Additionally, an application fee waiver will apply to all March 12 submissions.
