Nursing programs were assessed on several factors including how well a program supports students during their program,  towards licensure, and beyond, according to Registered Nursing.

Detailed ranking methodology can be found at: https://www.registerednursing.org/rankings-methodology/

Dr. Marivic Torregosa, TAMIU College of Nursing and Health Sciences interim dean, said the Registered Nursing ranking is a welcome news during these trying times.

“We attribute our success to the dedication of our nursing faculty who developed an RN-BSN curriculum that meets the highest academic standards,” she said, “All courses are peer-reviewed through Quality Matters (a peer review of online course offering).  Delivered in an accelerated online format, TAMIU’s program focuses on health in a global context, making our RN-BSN unique compared to other programs.”

An RN to BSN degree is designed for working nurses who want to continue their education. For those who graduated from a diploma program or earned their ADN, the RN to BSN presents an opportunity to earn their Bachelor's degree without repeating their clinicals.

As a bridge program, the RN to BSN serves as a direct path to students’ Bachelor's degree, taking around two years to complete. The RN to BSN at TAMIU can be completed online in as little as 12 months.

TAMIU’s RN to BSN Program is delivered in an online format, ideal for working nurses, conveniently featuring six start dates each year. Upcoming start dates include May 11 for Summer I, July 6 for Summer II and Aug. 24 for Fall.
