On Nov. 22, 2021, Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) welcomed the holiday season by lighting up the campus.

Members of the University community: students, faculty and staff, gathered in front of the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library for hot cocoa, cookies and impromptu carols.

TAMIU welcomes visitors to its seasonally decorated campus and encourages exterior photos throughout.  Campus lighting is activated nightly.  The setting is especially popular for graduation photos.  A dedicated site shares favorite photo opportunities on campus.

Visitors are cautioned that the 300-acre campus is shared with a variety of wildlife, including javelina and deer.  Contact with all campus wildlife should be avoided.  Face coverings and social distancing remain recommended while on campus.

Registration for Spring Semester 2022 is underway. Classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022.  Late registration ends Monday, Jan. 24, 2022.

For more information, contact the Office of the University Registrar at 326.2250, email registrar@tamiu.edu or visit offices in the University Success Center, suite 121.

University offices will close in a State-authorized holiday observance at noon Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021.  University offices reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3, 2022.  In the event of an emergency, please contact University Police at 956.326.2100.
