International Guitar Night Set at TAMIU
Thursday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m.

A rich program of varied guitar artistry will take center stage at "International Guitar Night" at Texas A&M International University on Thursday, April 13th, at 7:30 p.m. in the TAMIU Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall.


Featuring the TAMIU Classical Guitar Ensemble, the concert is free of charge and open to the public.


It is sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences' Department of Fine and Performing Arts, and will feature flamenco, jazz and  ragtime. The Ensemble is directed by Dr. Gilberto D. Soto, associate professor of Music Education.

Ensemble members include Faustino Santos, Alan Retamozo, Steven Arispe, Luis Barrera, Billy Thatcher, Jorge Garcia, Claudia M. Valdez, Miguel Duran, Rene Mendez, Sonia Gutierrez, Rene Duran, Marc Lopez, Miguel Saito, Cindy Medina, Aileen Gonzalez and Tomas Hernandez.
