Pick the playlist at your next trip to the Texas A&M International University Lamar Bruni Vergara Planetarium with “Rock on Demand” starting Saturday, May 29.

General admission is $6 and $5 for children, senior citizens and TAMIU students, staff and alumni.

Tickets go on sale at 4 p.m. at the LBV Planetarium ticket booth. Show times are 7 and 8 p.m.

“This new show features some of the greatest bands of all time such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, AC/DC and many others,” announced Gerardo A. Pérez, director, LBV Planetarium.

“ ‘Rock on Demand’ features classic rock music set to dazzling imagery and full-dome animation effects using the latest in CGI technology. Audiences get to pick the music from our library of great rock music and original imagery,” Pérez explained.

Audiences control the music and the show.

The LBV Planetarium will also provide an opportunity to get out of the summer heat with its summer schedule during June and July.

Shows will run on Wednesdays at 3 and 4 p.m. and Thursdays at 4 and 5 p.m. Admission to shows for those days is $3.

The LBV Planetarium will also be open every other Saturday starting June 5 at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. General admission applies on Saturdays.
