TAMIU Theatre Students
Present Summer Play Aug. 8-9

Support the arts and make plans to attend “A Very Short Summer Play” at the Texas A&M International University Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Sam Johnson Jr. Experimental Theatre, Thursday and Friday, Aug. 8 and 9.

Show times are at 7 and 8:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 and free with a valid TAMIU ID.

“A Very Short Play” features the works of Christopher Durang, David Ives and Cathy Celesia.

“Durang and Ives are two of the greats when it comes to the 10-minute play, and Celesia's unique writing style complements them nicely. These plays are not only good for training actors, but a lot of fun to watch as well. Together, these three short plays sure provide a fun evening of live theatre,” said Dr. Gilberto Martinez, instructor, communication and theater arts.

The plays include adult themes and are unsuitable for children under 13 years of age.
