Area Students, Parents Invited
to TAMIU Preview Day Saturday

Find out how you can discover the “International U” at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) at the TAMIU Area Preview Day, this Saturday, Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Admission is free and open to prospective students—transfer students, high school students and their parents.

“Our Preview Day is designed to give prospective students a taste of what TAMIU has to offer. They will have the opportunity to obtain information on admission and financial aid, learn about Study Abroad opportunities, visit our facilities and more,” said Scheiby Fisher, director, Office of Recruitment and School Relations.

Registration and “settling in” start at 11 a.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts Recital Hall Foyer.

Participants must arrive at 11 a.m. for participation in TAMIU Preview Day.

Preview Day highlights for students include sessions on financial aid, on-campus housing, TAMIU traditions, a visit to the Rec Center and an opportunity to learn about majors and programs.

Parents will also have the opportunity to learn about on-campus housing for their child, parents’ role in assisting their student receive financial aid, learn about the admission and registration process, campus safety and security and take a campus tour.
