Page 12 of 86 Section 3.08 Student Leave of Absence The Student Leave of Absence (LOA) rule assists and encourages students to return and graduate after an absence from TAMIU. Eligible students are encouraged to take advantage of the benefits provided by a LOA, e.g., a returning student need not apply for readmission to the University and may participate in their regularly scheduled registration/enrollment period upon return.
