TAMIU offices have scheduled a late start tomorrow, Wednesday, Jan. 22, with offices reopening and classes resuming at 10 a.m.
The late start affirms the University's commitment to the safety of all students, faculty, and staff in light of current weather conditions.

About Us

Academic Recovery and Data Analysis (ARDA) extends TAMIU's successful undergraduate support services and programs to ensure higher persistence and graduation rates. The ARDA team focuses on meeting students' social, emotional, and academic needs. We aim to increase postsecondary education access, affordability, completion, and post-enrollment success.

Project Goals

  • Increase strategies for meeting students’ holistic needs through student counseling and wellness programs
  • Increase high-quality data acquisition used for tracking student success
  • Increase faculty and staff professional development focusing on multiculturalism and promoting technology adoption and curriculum development
  • Increase technology supporting classroom instruction and student engagement
  • Increase strategic outreach to promote STEM fields
  • Develop a model program to facilitate seamless student transfer
  • Enhance content in bottleneck STEM courses through new technology and library resources that increases student engagement and hands-on learning experiences for students

Institutional Management Goals

  • Implement data collection, analysis, and assessment for students for informed decision-making processes

Fiscal Stability Goals

  • Increase externally funded research
  • Increase revenues through matched endowment funds while identifying, obtaining, and retaining financial support from a variety of sources to supplement State of Texas funding
