The Class Giving Campaign is an annual fund entirely run by students for students. Initially started by the TAMIU Student Philanthropy Council in 2016, its goal is to obtain donations for the Dustdevil P.R.I.D.E. Scholarship Endowment and help students graduate.
Graduating seniors are able to donate to the Class Giving Campaign as a way to show their support and love for TAMIU, its student body, and the many programs that help generate the next generation of leaders. The minimum donation is $25. You can donate online or stop by Killam Library 261.
Earning the Philanthropy Cord at TAMIU has quickly become one of our University's newest traditions. This maroon and silver cord symbolizes your pride and philanthropic support of student scholarships. The Philanthropy Cord is earned when you donate a minimum of $25 to the Class Giving Campaign.
Since its beginning in Fall 2016, the Class Giving Campaign has changed many lives at TAMIU. It is a true testament to the belief that you need nothing more than a giving heart to make a difference.
