The Class Giving Campaign was kicked off in 2016 at Texas A&M International University to provide graduating Dustdevils with an opportunity to say thank you and give back. Since its initiation, the Class Giving Campaign has generated over $29k in the last two years.

about the class giving campaign

1

The campaign was started in 2016 by the Student Philanthropy Council. Currently, SPC still oversees and manages the campaign in collaboration with the Class Giving Campaign Committee.

2

The minimum donation is $25.

3

The $25 donation goes right back to TAMIU students in the form of a scholarship known as the Dustdevil P.R.I.D.E. Scholarship. Essentially, you're helping other students graduate.

4

When you give to the Class Giving Campaign, you automatically earn your Philanthropy Cord to wear proudly at Commencement!

why others have given

"I gave to the Class Giving Campaign because I wanted to give someone the chance to walk across the stage just like I did. It was great to actually see the scholarships being awarded to students the next semester."
Emily Lerma '17
"I made a gift to the Class Giving Campaign to help spark initiative in students by teaching them that there is always a Dustdevil somewhere rooting for you. One small act can make a world of a difference."
Rebekah Kawas '17
"I gave because it's a way for me to pay it forward and give a fellow Dustdevil the opportunity to achieve their goal of obtaining a bachelor's degree."
San Juana Samaniego '17
"I give so that future Dustdevils can have the same opportunity I did to create memories and receive a quality education. Giving inspires and truly makes a difference."
Joshua Llamas '17
"I gave because I got a scholarship that helped me enroll at TAMIU. I was so grateful for this and as soon as I found out I had the opportunity to give back, I did. I like the idea of being  able to help someone who is in need."
