How can I get community service hours?

Only Student Philanthropy Ambassadors are eligible to receive community service hours unless stated otherwise. You obtain these hours by attending regular SPA meetings, volunteering at SPA events, posting on social media, outreaching to potential student donors, and helping out at events hosted by the Student Philanthropy Council. Additional opportunities for service hours may arise throughout the year.

 

How do I submit my membership fee?

You can submit your $25 membership fee online or in person at KL 261. Please contact philanthropy@tamiu.edu or give us a call at 326-GIVE if you have any questions.


Where does the $25 membership fee go?

The membership fee, among all else, supports SPA programming throughout the year. Here is the breakdown: 

$20 >> SPA programming/ events

$5 >> TAMIU fund of your choice
