Appointments should be requested at least 48 hours (two working days) in advance to allow time for materials to be retrieved.
For Summer 2024, research time is available
Mon-Thurs 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m./Fri 8 a.m.-Noon.

To best ensure confirmation for a preferred time slot, please get in touch with us as far in advance as possible.
Visitors, please note the following:
- Visitors must have a confirmed appointment to use materials.
- Visitor appointments are for a designated date and time.
- Visitors are required to observe safe handling procedures of all collection materials.
- Before the visit, the researcher is subject to a Research Interview to facilitate efficient use of on-site research time.

Please note the following guidelines are in effect in the Archive
- A maximum of two visitors are allowed per research team time slot.
- No food or drinks are allowed in the reading room.
The University Campus will close: June 19 (Juneteenth) & July 4 (Independence Day)
The TAMIU Campus closes at Noon on Fridays, Jun 7 - Aug 9
