Ford AutMus Fest Rocked Laredo!
Danielle Gomez Marketing Chair, AutMus Fest 2006
As promised, the 2006 Ford AutMus Fest rocked Laredo! It is hard to believe that a scholarly group of “stiffs” like the TAMIU Alumni Association, and I say that playfully, being a proud alumni member myself, managed to pull off such an awesomely successful music festival with performers of Ozomatli’s caliber. The People Who Make A Difference
Reprinted from The Laredo Morning Times
Dr. Carlos E. Cuellar, director of the D.D. Hachar Honors Program made a world of difference for 2006 graduate Liz A. Sandoval.
Liz credits Dr. Cuellar for her success at TAMIU and in her new career with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington, D.C.
“From the first day of the program, it was clear that he was involved and committed to the students and the program,” Sandoval said. “He wanted to make sure that we got the most out of our Honors experience and constantly pushed us to take advantage of all opportunities: field trips, lectures and study abroad. “We all felt like we were part of an extended family with him. He took us outside the classroom to help us see what the world would be like for us as graduates.” Click here to read entire story.

It is my pleasure to invite alumni of Texas A&M International University to a Goldman Sachs reception on Nov. 9 at La Mansion del Rio hotel in San Antonio. We are excited to have your alumni at our reception and encourage you to RSVP as soon as possible, as space is limited.
Goldman Sachs offers great career opportunities and we hope that your alumni will find an interest in our bank. Although the reception is hosted with several professional associations from San Antonio, please be sure to extend an invitation to all alumni of Texas A&M International University. In particular, we have an interest in meeting Professionals with at least 2 years of full-time work experience in the area of accounting, finance, banking, engineering, human resources, information technology and operations. Dear TAMIU Alumni,
We are improving our online job system! Our new system will be online soon.
In this new system, you will be able to search for and apply to jobs, sign-up for interviews on-campus, and register for our career fairs and workshops online. There will be some downtime while we are transitioning to the new system. During this time you should not login. If you do, any changes that you make, including changes to your profile and submissions to any jobs, will not be reflected in the new system.
When the upgrade is complete, we will send another email to your TAMIU email address to let you know the new website address. If you do not have a TAMIU email account, you will not receive the follow-up email with registration instructions. To create your TAMIU E-Mail for Life email account, follow this link https://students.tamiu.edu
If you had previously bookmarked our site, you will no longer be able to use the old website address.
Feel free to call us at 956-326-2260 or email us at careerservices@tamiu.edu, if you have any questions.
