Complete Application for Graduate Admissions online at https://www.applytexas.org/ Graduate Application Fee Pay graduate application fee in-person, by mail, or online. Applicants wishing to pay in-person may do so at TAMIU’s Business Office located in the Senator Judith Zaffirini Student Success Center (USC) 137. Cash, check, money order, and all major credit cards are accepted. Payments by mail should include check or money order payable to Texas A&M International University (no cash or credit card information accepted), Graduate Application Fee Payment Form, and send to: Texas A&M International University Applicant’s application and application fee must be received by the appropriate deadline. Official transcript(s) from each college/university attended other than TAMIU is/are required. Degree must be posted on the transcript of the university applicant obtained his/her degree(s).
Official certificate of graduation or official provisional certificate indicating the degree completed. Official is denoted as a transcript certified by a university official from the issuing institution, includes the institution’s seal, delivered in a sealed university envelope directly from the issuing institution to TAMIU.
Test scores must be received directly from the appropriate testing site and must be dated within five years of the applicant’s intended semester of enrollment: GRE (TAMIU Institution Code: 6838): Educational Testing Services (ETS) *Only applicable to those applicants pursuing their MBA in Spanish Online. No admission decision will be made by the ARSSB prior to the receipt of an official standardized exam score.
Required of all applicants having academic studies from a country where English is not the native language. A minimum TOEFL score of 79 (ibt TOEFL), 213 (computer-based), 550 (paper-based) or a 6.5 on the IELTS is required. This narrative should be a minimum of 300 words and should indicate the applicant’s accomplishments, experiences and future career aspirations that have influenced him/her to pursue a business graduate degree at TAMIU, as well as, the role his/her immediate family has played in their decision to pursue business graduate studies. This portion can be typed online when completing the application for graduate admissions.
Recommendations must be from individuals who are qualified to assess the applicant’s readiness for graduate studies. The writer must indicate he/she is aware the applicant is applying for graduate studies at TAMIU and must elaborate on why he/she feels the applicant would make an ideal candidate. (Salutation should read: To the Master’s Studies Committee) We prefer that at least one of the letters be from a former professor; the other may be from a current or most recent supervisor. If the applicant has been out of school for some time and is unable to obtain a letter from a former professor, then both recommendation letters from recent supervisors will be appropriate.

Required Financial Documentation for Applicants Needing an I-20 |

Submit the following items to TAMIU’s Office of Graduate Studies either by mail, email, or hand delivery: Texas A&M International University
A completed Financial Statement Form.
The Letter of Sponsorship is required from the party who will financially support the applicant during pursuit of degree. The letter should certify the sponsor's commitment to pay the educational, living, health, and personal expenses of the applicant until completion of the degree(s). A sponsor may be the student, student's parents or a third party organization. The sponsor's letter must be dated within six months of the first enrollment according to dates listed below.
Accompanying the letter of sponsor ship must be a bank statement certifying that the sponsor has sufficient funds indicated on the Financial Statement Form and dated within six months of the first enrollment according to the dates listed below.
Sufficient Medical Insurance Coverage The University requires each international student to have mandatory health insurance coverage while in the U.S. The student should enroll in the University plan, Associated Insurance Plans International, Inc. The university plan will cost approximately $702 to $2,998 per year. This coverage is the same for all Texas A&M University System schools. The student may enroll once arriving on campus or through the automated tuition and fee registration process. Note: Immigration documents such as passport, I-p4 and I-20 ID or DS-2019 must be carried at all times. This is in compliance with the Immigration and Nationality Act, December 24, 1952, Section 264(e). Contact the Office of Student Affairs for additional information. |

Registration
It is highly recommended all students, especially first-time students, establish contact with one of the Graduate Admissions Counselors to review specific requirements on the student’s particular degree plan, registration holds, and provide clarification on any admission conditions that were imposed on the student. A registration period is held for each academic semester and for each summer session.
