Field Placement Admission Requirements

1. Admitted to the College of Education
2. Institutional GPA of  2.7
3. Specialization/Major GPA 2.7
4. Submit Block I Field Placement Application
5. Submit Criminal Background forms and DPS form
6. Submit TB test results that are current for the year of field placement
7. Enrollment in Block I Instructional course
   *All forms available in KL 431 A

Field Requirements:

• 4 hours per week, for 10 weeks, of instructional classroom field time
• participate in group activities
• Correct papers
• Assist in preparation of bulleting boards or instructional models
• Complete and teach four lessons, which will be evaluated by the classroom mentor
