Field Placement Admission Requirements

1. Admitted to College of Education
2. Institutional GPA of 2.7
3. Specialization/Major GPA 2.7
4. Successfully complete Block I
5. Submit Block II Field Placement Application
6. Submit Criminal Background forms and DPS form
7. Submit TB test results that are current for the year of field placement
8. Enrollment in Block II Instructional courses (EDCI 3304 and EDDP 4324)
   *All forms available in KL 431 A

Field Requirements

• 7 hours per week, for 11 weeks, of instructional classroom field time
• Participate in group activities
• Correct papers
• Assist in preparation of bulletin boards or instructional models
• Complete and teach eight lessons, 5 of which will be evaluated by the classroom mentor, and 3 will be evaluated by the field university teaching mentor (FUTM)
