BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING (RN/BSN)
 

Following is one suggested two-year degree plan which applies only if the Registered Nurse has completed all or almost all of the 48 SCH core curriculum and prerequisite courses. Students are encouraged to see their advisor each semester for help with program decisions and enrollment. Students are responsible for reviewing the Program of Study Requirements and the requirements of the Dr. F. M. Canseco School of Nursing.

*The summer between junior and senior years provides an opportunity to complete no more than 12 SCH of required core coursework, including MATH 1342 Statistics and the Rising Junior Exam, RJE.
 
**Upon successful completion of the National League for Nursing Mobility Exams, 22 credits (7 upper division and 15 lower division) will be transferred in for previous nursing coursework in addition to NURS 2311, 2312, and 2313.
 
All courses required for completion of the basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree can be completed in four calendar years of full time study, including eight long semesters and three summers. The ten nursing courses required for completion of the degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing for Registered Nurses can be completed in four long semesters of full time study.
