Planetary Astronomy
 
Three semester hours  (FL/SS)
 
An introductory survey of the solar system to include astronomical history and instrumentation, the sun, planets and their moons, comets, asteroids and meteoroids and meteorites. Designed to fulfill laboratory science core curriculum requirements. Must be taken concurrently with ASTR 1111. Carries no credit toward a major or minor in Physics.  Prerequisite:  MATH 1316 or permission of instructor.
