| Three semester hours (FL-Odd) |
| The course builds upon the knowledge of literature gained at sophomore level. Will study major literary works that reflect the significance of social, political, and philosophical factors in bringing about a shift in literary taste and practice from a certain period to another in the history of British and American literature. Prerequisite: Three hours sophomore literature or consent of instructor. May be repeated once when topic changes. |
