On
an individual basis, during the senior year, psychology majors and/or
gerontology minors will be placed in community mental health agencies
or institutions, at which they will obtain hands-on experience in
an applied setting. Those students pursuing the Gerontology minor
will be specifically placed in a site providing services to the geriatric
populations. Evaluation of performance in this course is on CR/NCR
basis. Prerequisites: Psychology majors must be in senior year and
must have completed a minimum of twelve hours in psychology; gerontology
minors must be in senior year and have completed a minimum of PSYC
3315 and PSYC 3307.
