Introduction to Urban Planning
 
Three semester hours  (FL-Even)
 
This course introduces students to the basic principles and concepts of urban planning.  A primary focus is the practical skills/techniques associated with the major theories and models of planning.  It provides a broad overview of all types of urban planning with emphasis on land use, design, transportation, and environmental and social planning. Prerequisite: Upper division standing or consent of instructor.
