The following support programs and services are available for students:
University College:
Academic success for
Texas A&M International University
students
is the main goal of our University College. Central to our mission is the provision of a
supportive environment that encourages students to develop their maximum potential
both intellectually and personally. Free assistance in a variety of forms is offered by this
comprehensive center to help each student achieve the greatest possible level of success.
Career Services:
Need a job? The mission of the Office of Career Services is to assist
potential, current and former students to identify, explore, select and enter career programs
and employment opportunities.
Student Affairs:
Promotes and encourages
experience and opportunities that will allow
students the ability to mature and create a
positive atmosphere as they excel in their
future within themselves, the University, and
the community at large. Your student can
join any of approximately 60+ dynamic
student clubs and organizations available
at
TAMIU
.
Housing:
Your student will live in an international community steps away from his/her classes.
Research tells us that students who live on campus are academically more successful and
graduate in higher numbers that students who live off campus.
TAMIU
has two housing
facilities: the Residential Learning Community and the University Village.
