Our Mission

The Office of Career Services, which serves under the Office of Institutional Advancement, will assist potential, current and former students to identify, explore, select and enter career programs and employment opportunities. To that end, we provide services for:

Prospective and Current Students: Information on grant opportunities, jobs, internships, career counseling and e-mentor programs and upcoming events.

Parents: Information on career planning, making career choices and other resources.

TAMIU Staff, Faculty and Recruiters: Post job opportunities for our students and graduates, read our graduate employment report and access our e-mentor program.

Alumni: Access our e-alumni database and sign-up to be an e-mentor.

Career Café

For employers, our Career Café is a quiet, relaxing and informal business setting to network with alumni, employers, and students. For TAMIU students and alumni, the Career Café is a place where you can research your career, attend workshops and presentations, enjoy Coffee House Wednesdays and relax with one of our career magazines, books, videos and more.
