Welcome to the Office of Career Services!Our MissionThe Office of Career Services, which serves under the Office of Institutional Advancement, will assist potential, current and former students to identify, explore, select and enter career programs and employment opportunities. To that end, we provide services for:
PROSPECTIVE AND CURRENT STUDENTS: information on grant opportunities, jobs, internship, career counseling and an e-mentor program, and upcoming events. PARENTS: information on career planning, making career choices, and other resources. TAMIU STAFF, FACULTY AND RECRUITERS: Post jobs opportunities for our student and graduates, read our graduate employment report, and access our E-Mentor program. ALUMNI: Access our E-Alumni database and sign up to be an E-Mentor.
Career CafeStop by and visit our Career Cafe, an informal business setting to network with alumni, employers, and students. Attend workshops that help you to strategize your job search for the perfect fit. The National Society of Leadership and SuccessThe National Society of Leadership and Success is an organization that helps people discover and achieve their goals. The Society offers life-changing lectures from the nations leading presenters and a community where like-minded success oriented individuals come together and help one another succeed. The Society also serves as a powerful force of good in the greater community by encouraging and organizing action to better the world.
