University's Language Institute Offering Foreign Language Classes

Community members who wish to learn Italian, French, English, Spanish, or German are invited to register for 3-week conversational courses to be offered by Texas A&M International University's International Language Institute (ILI) July 7 - 25.

The short Conversational Courses will be offered at the University's main campus, 5201 University Boulevard, Monday - Friday July 7 - 25.

Beginning Italian, Beginning French, and Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced English are scheduled from 10 a.m. - 12 noon.

Beginning and Intermediate Spanish and Beginning German are scheduled from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

A Spanish for Children course is also scheduled from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. weekdays July 7 - 25.

A placement exam is required for English and Spanish courses.

Tuition for the Conversational Courses is $150 per course.

Early registration for the courses is underway through June 13 at the ILI offices located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library Administration Building room 214 East. The ILI will conduct regular registration for the Conversational Courses from June 16 - 27. Maximum class size is 10 students.
