Despite all the enlightened talk about non-traditional female roles and the prevalence of “Mr. Mom,” a Texas A&M International University assistant professor of psychology says that complex human notions of love, marriage, morality and sex can be boiled down to strategies used to promote genetic propagation.

Dr. Christopher J. Ferguson examines the impact of evolution and genetics on differences in behavior between sexes—differences in mating and sexual behavior as well as aggression—with “The Girls With the Bodies Like Boys With Ferraris” at the TAMIU Lamar Bruni Vergara Conference closing ceremonies on today in the Student Center Ballroom (SC 203) at 5:30 p.m.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

The Conference provides an opportunity for recognition of the excellent research and scholarship of TAMIU undergraduate and graduate students, with cash prizes for best presentation in their disciplines.
