TAMIU Keyboard and Lower Strings Studio Recital Nov. 9

Dr. Fritz Gechter's students will perform Nov. 9  

Spend an evening taking in a entertaining program of music at the upcoming Keyboard and Lower Strings Studio Recital at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Center for the Fine and Performing Arts (CFPA) Recital Hall.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The concert is presented by the TAMIU College of Arts and Sciences Department of Fine and Performing Arts.

Students from the organ studio of Dr. Colin Campbell, associate professor of music and organ; piano studio of Dr. Fritz Gechter, associate professor of music and piano, and string studio of Brendan Townsend, assistant professor of music, will perform classical works ranging from the Baroque to the contemporary eras.

 “Our students are excited to showcase the great pieces they’ve been working on this semester,” said Dr. Gechter.
