PHYS 2326
University Physics II.
Three semester hours. (SP)
Continuation of PHYS 2325. A calculus-based treatment of the fundamentals of electricity and magnetism, sound, light and modern physics. Topics include electrostatics, magnetostatics and magnetic materials, electromagnetic waves, geometric optics, physical optics, quantum mechanics, nuclear physics and relativity theory. Must be taken concurrently with PHYS 2126. Prerequisites: MATH 2414, PHYS 2325/PHYS 2125. (Formerly PHYS 1376).
