May 2006 Class Gift Largest Ever!
Candidates for graduation were present during the Spring 2006 Commencement Exercise rehearsal held on Friday, May 12, at Texas A&M International University. Felix Velasquez, Student Government Association President, presented the 2006 Class Gift for $1,300 to the TAMIU Alumni Association President, Henry P. Flores ’72. Felix was accompanied by Katherine Cogburn, and Denyse Segovia who are also part of the Class of 2006 graduates. Since the presentation of this check at graduation rehearsal, the total amount of the class gift has increased to $2,400. We greatly appreciate our new alumni's generosity.
