Alumni Relations Home	In Memoriam Our deepest sympathy to the family of Dr. Jack O. Hazlerig, former long-time Laredo State University and Texas A&M International University associate professor of English. Dr. Hazlerig first joined the University faculty in 1976, retiring in 1998. He held his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University while his BA and MA were from North Texas State University. He was well-known for his dry humor, spirited Whitman lectures and his ever-present pipe.
