MS 1221
Unarmed Self-Defense and Combative Laboratory
Two semester hours.
Designed as an introductory course for self-defense. Practical physical and individual training in unarmed self-defense and combative techniques. Classes consist of aerobic, flexibility and strength training as well as technical and self-defense instruction. Designed to build individual confidence and improve the self-defense capability of students. The laboratory stresses confidence, discipline and physical fitness. May be repeated for credit. Prerequisite/corequisite: Approval of Professor of Military Science, or completion of or concurrent enrollment in any of the following: MS 1303, MS 1304, MS 2303, MS 2304, MS 3303, MS 3304, or MS 4304. Course fee: $10.00.
