About

The Program

Our program promotes the critical examination and study of a wide range of historical and political phenomena and patterns. Through mastery of social science and humanities research skills, students will be able to examine processes of political, cultural, and ideological change in national, transnational, and international contexts. Our interdisciplinary program provides students with the research, writing, and analytical skills necessary for further graduate studies and a variety of leadership roles in an increasingly complex, culturally diverse state, national, and global society.

The Faculty

They teach a wide variety of political science topics from American government and politics to political philosophy, international relations, and comparative politics, including courses on specific regions. History and political science faculty offer personalized attention to graduate students in seminars, one-on-one conferences, and thesis preparation.
