HealthyU Fitness Program


HealthyU has partnered up with Recreational Sports to offer a fitness class specifically for full-time TAMIU staff and faculty. Fitness classes and initiatives run through the semester. Sign up is required and space is limited.

Stronger U is a strength training class. It focuses on strengthening all major muscle groups. The one hour class is great for all fitness levels. Space is limited.

Yoga is a great way to relax, gain mobility and manage stress. Space is limited.

Two-Step Program

The TAMUS Two-Step Program is a voluntary program that can help you maintain or improve your current state of health and well-being and help you lower your health risk and health care costs. Completion of the Two-Step Program will ensure you have the lowest rate on your medical premium. This is available to all active Employees or Spouses enrolled in A&M Care Plan except for J Plan, 65 Plus Plan and Retirees.

Complete your two items by June 30th, 2026 in order to receive the lowest premium on your medical coverage for the plan year beginning September 1st, 2026.
