TAMIU Offers Free College Success Seminars

The Texas A&M International University Office of Career Planning and Placement will hold a series of College Success Seminars beginning January 23.

Free seminars on College Note-Taking, Study Skills, and Test-Taking Strategies will be offered in the afternoons and again in the evenings for the convenience of working students.

College Note-Taking is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and Monday, January 29, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Study Skills is scheduled for Wednesday, January 24, 5:30-6:30 p.m., and Tuesday, January 30, 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Test-Taking Strategies is scheduled for Thursday, January 25, 2:00-3:00 p.m., and Wednesday, January 31, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Persons interested in attending any of the seminars are asked to preregister at the Office of Career Planning and Placement, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building Room 157 West.
