TAMIU Ambassadors Add New Members

Five new members were inducted into the Texas A&M International University Student Ambassadors during a welcoming reception held recently in the University's Great Room.

New TAMIU Ambassadors are Joseph Becza, Gabriela Cordova, Norma Garza, Gabriel Guzman, and Hanish Sharma.

The TAMIU Student Ambassadors are a student service organization dedicated to assisting students in preparing for and adjusting to the rigors of University life and learning at Texas' newest four-year University.

Ambassadors also participate in campus and community events throughout the area and provide campus tours for groups or individuals interested in visiting the campus at 5201 University Boulevard.

The TAMIU Student Ambassadors are advised by Ricardo Ortegon, Associate Director of the University's office of Enrollment Management and School Relations, and Paula Quenoy, Associate Director of Career Planning and Placement.

For more information on the TAMIU Ambassadors, call the TAMIU Office of Enrollment Management and School Relations at 326-2270. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Wednesday - Friday.
