TAMIU Police Officers Receive Commissions

Texas A&M International University Police Officers were officially commissioned as Peace Officers by The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.

Under the authority of the Texas Education Code, Section 51.203, TAMIU Police Officers were commissioned to carry out the provisions of all applicable laws while on the property under the control and jurisdiction of TAMIU, or in the performance of their duties as peace officers.

Receiving commissions were TAMIU Officers Peter Bak, Edna Flores, Manuel J. Solis, Mario Vidaurri, and Chief of University Police Harry W. Stege.
