TAMIU's Early Registration For SSI, SSII, Fall Continues

Texas A&M International University is currently conducting Early Registration for Summer Session I, Summer Session II, and Fall 1996 courses. Early Registration at TAMIU continues through May 2. Registration forms and schedules for Summer Session and Fall 1996 courses are available from the TAMIU Office of the Registrar, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building Room 168 West. The Office of the Registrar is open from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Registration forms and course schedules are also available from the TAMIU Information Center, located at the University's downtown campus, One West End Washington Street, in University Hall Room 133. Students are encouraged to take advantage of Early Registration in order to have the greatest variety of course selection.

University Registrar Barbara Lunce encourages all students to take advantage of early registration since tuition and fees do not have to be paid at the time of early registration. "Students who participate in Early Registration have until May 27 to pay tuition and fees for Summer Session I courses, July 1 for Summer Session II courses, and August 16 for Fall 1996 courses," said Lunce.

Emergency Loan monies will also be available before the start of each Summer Session and Fall semester. Information on the emergency loan program or other available financial aid including grants, scholarships, College Work-Study Programs, and loans, may be obtained from the University's Office of Financial Aid, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building Room 155 West. Summer Session I courses at TAMIU begin June 3 and end July 3. Summer Session II courses run from July 8 through August 7. Fall 1996 courses begin August 26.
