Texas A&M International Offers College Success Seminars

The Texas A&M International University Office of Career Planning and Placement will hold five free College Success Seminars in September to assist University students in achieving their academic goals.

The seminars range in topics from college note-taking to time management skills.

The number of participants is not limited, however, students are asked to preregister to attend any seminar by calling the Office of Career Planning and Placement at 326-2260 or by visiting offices located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library Administration Building Room 157 West.

College Success Seminars scheduled for September are "College Note-Taking" - Wednesday, September 4, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m., "Study Skills" - Thursday, September 5, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., "Test-Taking Strategies" - Friday, September 6, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., "Time Management" - Monday, September 9, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., and "Stress Management" - Tuesday, September 10, 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.

All seminars will be held in the Office of Career Planning and Placement.
