Texas A&M International Student Government Holds Elections

Texas A&M International University's Student Government Association will hold elections on Wednesday, October 2 and Thursday, October 3 from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. outside of the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building.

Seven senators will be elected, one each from the College of Arts and Humanities and College of Science and Technology, two each from the College of Education and for At Large Representative, and one for Graduate Students At Large Representative.

Also to be elected are six justices, one each from the College of Arts and Humanities, College of Business Administration, College of Education, and College of Science and Technology, and two At Large justices.

The Student Government Association, an officially recognized student organization, participates in the decision-making processes affecting University students.

The SGA's primary purpose is to represent the concerns and interests of students and to provide or assist in providing programs for betterment and enrichment of the campus community.

Office hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
