Texas A&M International Students Attend Symposium

Ten members of the Texas A&M International University Student Ambassadors attended the Texas A&M University System Student Services Symposium in Corpus Christi recently.

The Symposium, themed "Students As Customers," was attended by students, faculty, and administrators of the A&M System, one of the largest and most renowned systems of higher education in the nation.

A&M International Student Ambassadors who attended the Symposium included Wendy Amozurrutia, Gaby Cordova, Juan Jose Gonzalez, Sandy Martinez, Yvette Martinez, Nadia Plascencia, Richard Rendon, Gilberto Sanchez, Hanish Sharma, and Alexandra Solis.

They attended sessions on student housing issues, success, and student burnout.

The A&M International Student Ambassadors are a student service organization which assists students in preparing for and adjusting to the rigors of University life. The group also conducts campus tours for new students and visitors and participates in campus and community events.
