University Announces October Career Workshops

The Texas A&M International University Office of Career Planning and Placement will offer free workshops in October to assist University students in achieving their career goals.

The free career workshops will be offered both in the afternoon and evenings in the Office of Career Planning and Placement located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library Administration Building Room 157 West.

October workshops include "Choosing a Major" - Monday, October 7, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., "Resume Writing" - Tuesday, October 8, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., "Interview Skills" - Wednesday, October 9, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon and 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., "Job Search Strategies" - Thursday, October 10, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., "Successful Job Fair Interviews" - Friday, October 11, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., "Time Management" - Monday, October 14, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., and "Stress Management" - Monday, October 14, 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Students may preregister to attend any workshop by calling the Office of Career Planning and Placement at 326-2260 or by visiting offices located in Killam Building room 157 West.
