University's Continuing Ed. Offers Window '95 Course

Texas A&M International University's Office of Continuing Education is currently conducting registration for a low-cost "Introduction to Windows '95" course which will be offered at the University's main campus on Saturday, December 7 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The hands-on course is designed for individuals who have some computer experience. Topics include launching applications from Windows, understanding the Program Manager, managing multiple applications, simplifying file maintenance and organization, trouble-shooting techniques, shortcuts, and linking information between different Windows applications.

Tuition is $75. Class size is limited to ensure individualized instruction.

Also scheduled for December is a State approved Defensive Driving course to be offered on Thursday, December 19 and Friday, December 20, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 103. Tuition is $25. The course may be taken for ticket dismissal and a 10% discount savings on auto insurance premiums. Persons interested in taking the course for ticket dismissal should first obtain permission from the court assigned to them on the ticket before registering for the course.
