A&M International Begins Lunch-Time Lectures Mar. 3

The Texas A&M International University Women's Studies Program will commemorate Women's History Month with a Lunch-Time Speaker Series set to begin on March 3.

The Lunch-Time Speaker Series is free and open to members of the community.

Scheduled presentations in the Speaker Series include: "The Women vs. Larry Flynt" to be presented by Dr. Alicia Carroll and Dr. Jeraldine Kraver on Monday, March 3, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 113; "Women and Aging," Dr. Marjorie Coppock, Friday, March 21, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 114; "The Feminist Influence on Social Psychology," Dr. Susana Perry, Thursday, March 27, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 113; "The Human Body as Property," Dr. Carol Waters, Wednesday, April 2, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 114; "La Quinceañera: Towards an Ethnology of a Life Cycle Ritual," Dr. Norma Cantu, Monday, April 7, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 114; "You Just Don't Understand Me!: Gender and Language Differences in Conversation," Dr. Kati Pletsch de Garcia, Monday, April 14, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 114; "Women in Children's Literature," Dr. Frances Gates Rhodes, Monday, April 21, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 114; and "Sexual Assault/Sexual Harassment," A&M International University Chief of Police Harry Stege, Tuesday, April 29, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 114.

Persons who attend the Lunch-Time Speaker Series may bring their lunch to the presentations. Cookies will be served.
