A&M International Hosts Talk On Mexico's Public Administration Mar. 20

Texas A&M International University will host a free presentation on "The Modernization of Mexico's Public Administration, 1995 - 2000" on Thursday, March 20 at 9:00 p.m. in Pellegrino Hall room 101 on the University's main campus, 5201 University Boulevard.

Special guest speaker will be Dr. Eduardo Betancourt Gonzalez, comptroller with the Confederacion Deportiva Mexicana in Mexico City.

The presentation is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the University's International Business Administration (IBA), a student organization.

Dr. Gonzalez will discuss the changing public administration in Mexico and its implications for the private sector. He has served in Mexico's public sector for over 25 years. His previous positions include general treasurer of Colegio del Bachilleres, director of administration and finance for the department of the promotion of sports in Mexico City, and director of auditing and supervision of the department of public education.
