Dr. Momayezi presented a paper on Islamic Revivalism and Quest for Political Power. Drs. Waters and Knight were co-authors of a paper, Hispanic Social Justice: Connecting Identity to Beliefs. Dr. Coppock, presented her paper, El Norte: Stories of the Journey and was chair and organizer of the border studies section of the conference.
