Texas A&M International University has extended Early Registration for Fall 1997 through Friday, August 1 for continuing students.

New freshmen and transfer students may sign up for courses during Regular Registration on August 27 and 28 from 1 - 7 p.m.

Fall Semester courses begin September 1.

University Registrar Barbara Lunce encourages students to take advantage of early registration in order to have the greatest course selection.

"Enrollment for our Fall courses has increased every year. Students who wait for regular or late registration may find some courses closed," said Lunce.

Students who take advantage of Fall Early Registration have until 5 p.m. August 15 to pay tuition and fees.

Emergency Loans for Fall will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning August 11 for students who registered early.

For more information on A&M International's Early Registration for Fall, please contact the University's Office of the Registrar at 326-2250.

Their office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and 8 am - 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.
