Texas A&M International University's 1997-1998 catalog is now available on-line at the University's Home Page.

To access the on-line catalog, Internet users should enter A&M International's Home Page at http://www.tamiu.edu then open the "1997 1998 Catalog" link.

The on-line catalog is available in two file formats--a readable HTML file which will allow users to immediately browse through the catalog or a downloadable PDF file for later viewing and printing.

Information available from either format of the on-line catalog includes general information on A&M International, information of the University's Division of Student Affairs, undergraduate and graduate academic regulations, and undergraduate and graduate degree listings, course descriptions, and faculty listings for the University's four Colleges--Arts and Humanities, Business Administration, Education, and Science and Technology.

Forms necessary for graduate or undergraduate admission, including the Legal Residence Information Form, Financial Statement Form, Transcript Request Form, Graduate Application for Admission Form, and Undergraduate Application for Admission Form, are also available on-line.

Three of the forms--Legal Residence Information, Financial Statement, and Transcript Request--are designed so that they can be printed from the screen using the browser's Print command.

The Undergraduate and Graduate Applications for Admission forms are designed in a downloadable PDF format.

Catalog coordinator Phillip J. Lane, Assistant to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, said the on-line catalog provides global access to A&M International's catalog.

"People anywhere in the world with Internet capabilities can access our catalog 24-hours a day, any day of the year," said Lane.

Traditional copies of the A&M International 1997-1998 catalog are also available from the University's Office of Admissions, located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library Administration Building 155 West.

Office of Admissions hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday - Thursday.
