Students have one last opportunity to take the ACT Residual Exam for admission to Texas A&M International University Wednesday, Aug. 20 from 1-5:30 p.m. in Bullock Hall 118.

The ACT Residual Exam is identical to conventional ACT exams, but is locally scored with results applied only to admission at A&M International.

Cost of the exam will be $16.50. Actual test time is about 3 hours.

Admissions Counselor Lisa Bennett said the opportunity is ideal for freshmen students who for various reasons were not able to take ACT or SAT entrance exams earlier in the year.

"While the national exam is offered at various times throughout the year, we understand that many local students were not able to register for testing. This ACT Residual Exam offers them a final chance to take the exam that is required for admission to A&M International and ready themselves for admission this Fall at the University," Bennett explained.

For additional information on the Texas A&M International University ACT Residual Exam, please contact the Office of Admissions at 326-2206 or visit offices located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library, Room 155.
