A&M International Offers Free Career Workshops

The Texas A&M International University Office of Career Planning and Placement will hold a series of free workshops this semester to assist University students in achieving their career goals.

"Interviewing Skills" will be offered on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and repeated on Thursday, Nov, 6, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Dec. 3, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

"Resume and Cover Letter Writing" will be offered on Thursday, Oct. 2, from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and will be repeated on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and Thursday, Dec. 4, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m.

All workshops will be held in the Office of Career Planning and Placement located in the Sue and Radcliffe Killam Library-Administration Building room 157 West.

The number of participants is not limited, however, students are asked to preregister to attend any workshop by calling the Office of Career Planning and Placement at 326-2260 or by visiting offices located in Killam Library-Administration Building room 157 West.

Office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday - Thursday.
