A&M International Offers Free Leadership Workshops

The Texas A&M International University Office of Student Development will hold two free workshops to help University students develop leadership skills.

"Goal Setting To Change Your Life" will be offered on Friday, Oct. 24, from 2 - 4 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 209. The workshop will help participants define personal and professional goals, explain how to achieve purpose in life though goal setting, and reveal the essential ingredients in effective goal setting. Participants will also learn how to activate their success mechanism. Presenter will be Gabriela Mendoza, Associate Director of Student Development at A&M international.

"Learning and Living: The Profiles of Highly Effective Leaders" will be offered on Friday, Nov. 14 from 2 - 4 p.m. in Bullock Hall room 209. This informative, interactive workshop will explore the essential characteristics that all leaders display. A personal inventory will encourage participants to use these leadership traits effectively. Presenter will be David VerMilyea, Director of Student Development at A&M International.
